Khushi’s is located at 61 Forrest Road, Edinburgh, EH1 2QP, in the heart of Edinburgh’s Old Town. We are close to many of the city’s major attractions and festival venues, including the National Museum of Scotland, Greyfriars Bobby, the University of Edinburgh and George Square.The easiest way to reach us is by walking, taxi or public transport into the Old Town. If you are visiting during busy periods such as the Edinburgh Festival, we recommend allowing extra travel time.
We are open from Tuesday to Sunday, 12:00 to 22:00. Please check our website before visiting in case of any updates.Opening hours may vary during special events, holidays or festival periods, so please check our website or contact us directly before visiting.
While walk-ins are welcome, we strongly recommend reserving, especially at weekends. A quick call or online booking secures your preferred time and avoids waiting, ensuring you spend more moments enjoying warm spices rather than standing in the chilly Scottish breeze.
You can book a table directly through our website for groups of up to 6 people. For larger bookings, please call us on 0131 620 3333. You can also book by phone, and once your booking is complete you should receive a confirmation email.If your confirmation email does not arrive, please check your junk or spam folder, or contact us and we’ll be happy to help.
Our entrance on Forrest Road is level, and the dining room offers step-free access and an accessible restroom. Please let us know when booking if you require extra space so we can reserve the most comfortable spot.

The 1947 Club is Khushi’s free membership club, named after the year we first opened. It gives guests access to little extras, early booking windows, exclusive invites, seasonal surprises and special member experiences.Member perks include priority access for Christmas and special events, exclusive tasting evenings, sneak peeks at new dishes and promotions, and birthday treats.

Yes. Khushi’s offers lunch thali platters, designed for generous, flavourful daytime dining.Please check the current menu online or ask the team when you visit, as dishes and availability may vary.
Yes. Khushi’s has a full bar offering classic drinks, craft beers and spice-led cocktails and mocktails designed to pair beautifully with the food. Signature drinks include the Bobby's Bubble Blast cocktail and the Royal Beet mocktail.Please note that Khushi’s is not a BYOB restaurant, and guests should not bring their own alcohol or drinks to a booking.
For groups of 6 or more, Khushi’s charges a £10 per person deposit, which is removed from the final bill at the end of your meal. Card details are captured for all online bookings but not charged. If you need to cancel, please let us know at least 24 hours before your booking. Failure to do will result in loss of the deposit or application of our cancellation charge.For bookings with children under 4 in the evening, reservations should be made before 6:00pm and cannot run past 8:00pm, depending on party size. Children should be included in the guest numbers when booking.
